EBS recycle bin

Kingsoft Cloud provides an EBS recycle bin, from which you can restore EBS volumes. When an EBS volume expires or a deleted EBS volume is retained in the recycle bin for longer than the retention period, the EBS volume is permanently deleted and data on it cannot be restored.

Recycle an EBS volume

The recycling mechanism of EBS volumes slightly varies by billing mode, as described in the following table.

Restore an EBS volume

1. Log in to the KEC console.

2. In the left navigation pane, choose Recycle > EBS Recycle Bin.

3. In the list, perform the following operations as needed:

   • Restore a single EBS volume: Find the EBS volume that you want to restore and choose More > Restore in the Operation column.

   • Restore multiple EBS volumes at a time: Select multiple EBS volumes and click Batch Restore above the list.
4. Click OK.
