Enable No Fees Upon Shutdown

When you are shutting down a KEC instance, you can enable the No Fees Upon Shutdown mode. If the KEC instance is shut down in this mode, it will not be charged for its CPU and memory. For more information about the billing descriptions and precautions for this mode, see No fees for stopped Pay-As-You-Go instances.

Note that only the General Purpose N1, N2, and N3, Compute Optimized C4, and Standard S4 KEC instances that use the Pay-As-You-Go billing mode support this shutdown mode.

Procedure

1. Log in to the KEC console.

2. On the Instance page, select one or more KEC instances to be stopped from the instance list and then click Stop above the list.

   In the dialog box that appears, the system automatically identifies the KEC instances that support No Fees Upon Shutdown.

3. Select No Fees Upon Shutdown for the Select Shutdown Mode parameter.

   

4. Click OK.

After a KEC instance is shut down, you can check its shutdown mode on the instance details page.
