  1. Does KEC supports website filing? KEC supports website filing. You need to provide the entity name, public IP address, and your domain name. The customer service personnel will send the materials required for filing to you, so you can prepare them as stated.
  2. What do I do if my level-1 domain name has been filed with another access service provider but I use a Kingsoft Cloud IP address now? If your level-1 domain name has been filed, you can provide the filing password. Kingsoft Cloud will then change the access service provider for you. During the change, the use of your website will not be affected. You need to provide your IP address, domain name, and company name. The customer service personnel will send the materials required for filing to you, so you can prepare them as stated.
  3. If my level-1 domain name has been filed, does the Kingsoft Cloud level-2 domain name need to be filed? If your level-1 domain name has been filed, your level-2 domain name can be used directly without the need of filing. If your level-1 domain name does not use a Kingsoft Cloud IP address, it is recommended that you perform access filing. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recommends that a customer performs domain name connection for many times if multiple access service providers are involved. Only one more access service provider is added, and your website will not be affected. If you do not want to change the access service provider, you need to make sure that your level-1 domain name that uses a Kingsoft Cloud IP address has a filing number. If you have no filing number, the access to the website will be rejected as required by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
  4. What is the impact if a website is not filed? As required by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a website can only be accessed upon filing. If your domain name that is resolved to a Kingsoft Cloud IP address does not have a filing number, Kingsoft Cloud will isolate your domain name as required by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. After the isolation, the associated website will not be accessed by external parties, while the filed websites and IP addresses will not be affected.
