This topic describes the guidelines for upgrading configurations of a KEC instance.
You can adjust the bandwidth in the KEC console.
Local disks support online and offline capacity expansion, and the adjustment will take effect immediately after the operation is completed. EBS volumes support offline capacity expansion, and the adjustment will take effect upon the remounting after the capacity expansion operation is completed.
You can adjust the CPU and memory for a KEC instance when the instance is in Running or Stopped state. During the configuration upgrade, the KEC instance status must be kept unchanged. It may take long to change the configuration. You can choose to change the configuration for a running or stopped instance. During online configuration upgrade, operating of the KEC instance will not be affected. During offline configuration upgrade, the KEC instance is unavailable.
