You can purchase KEC instances by using the KEC console or API.

Use the KEC console

  1. Log in to the KEC console.

  2. On the Instance page, click Create Instance.

  3. Select the instance type and configuration, and follow the wizard to configure the EIP and VPC. For more information, see Create an instance.

  4. Submit the order and complete the payment.

Use the API

You can call an API operation to purchase KEC instances. For more information, see the description of the RunInstances operation.

Payment instructions

  • Account recharging: Kingsoft Cloud supports online recharging and offline bank transfer. You can select one of them based on your needs.

  • Instance renewal: You can centrally renew KEC instances on the Billing Center > Renewal Management page of the console. For more information, see Renewal management.

  • Vouchers: For more information about how to pay an order by using vouchers, see Vouchers.

  • Pay-As-You-Go: If you want to purchase cloud services in Pay-As-You-Go mode, your account balance must be at least CNY 100, which excludes vouchers and trial quota.

  • Product trial: Kingsoft Cloud provides the product trail service. For more information, see Product trail guide.

  • Online bill: You can check your bills in the console.

  • Bill API: Kingsoft Cloud provides the bill API. For more information, see Bill API.

Processing upon expiration

By default, if you do not renew your KEC instance after the KEC instance expires, the KEC instance will be retained for seven days, and the data on data disks will also be retained for seven days. If the KEC instance is not renewed after seven days, resources will be released, and all data will be cleared.
