Snapshots are put into commercial use from 0:00 on July 15, 2021. After that, all existing snapshots and newly generated snapshots will be charged based on their storage size.
Snapshots are billed based on their storage size and the fees are separately calculated by region. Only the Pay-As-You-Go billing mode is supported. Snapshot fees are calculated every hour on the hour. For more information about the billing modes, see Snapshot price information.
After snapshots are put into commercial use, you can still obtain a free quota of 50 GB in regions including CN North 1(Beijing), CN South 1(Guangzhou), CN East 1(Shanghai), China (Hong Kong), Singapore, and Russia (Moscow). The free quota policy will be canceled since February 2022.
