Why can’t I ping a KEC instance and connect to the specified port program?
There are many reasons why the the KEC instance cannot be connected. You can follow these steps for troubleshooting:

  1. Check whether the firewall protocol has been added.
The inbound rule ICMP needs to be set on the firewall to allow ping operations.

  2. Check whether an EIP has been bound normally.

  3. Check whether the firewall in the KEC instance has been disabled.

  4. Check whether the KEC instance resides in a VPC.

  5. Check whether the port is opened by running “telnet ip port number”.

  6. Use the command “netstat-ant|find port number” to check whether this port is listened on and whether the listening IP address is correct.
