The following table describes the billing items related to KEC.
|The billing depends on the selected series, type, and specifications (CPU and memory) of a KEC instance, purchase duration, and quantity.
|If the free system disk capacity assigned by default is insufficient, you can purchase Elastic Block Storage (EBS) volumes to obtain more storage capacity as needed.
|Elastic IP (EIP)
|Optional. EIP is charged based on the link bandwidth selected.
|Disaster tolerance group
|Optional. Free trial is provided at present.
KEC offers a variety of server hardware configurations, and each type of instance corresponds to a specific combination of computing, storage, and network capabilities. You can choose an appropriate instance type based on your business scale.
For more information about the instance types, see KEC instance types.
For more information about the pricing of all types of KEC instances, see KEC pricing.
Kingsoft Cloud provides different types of data storage devices for KEC instances, which are applicable to various scenarios. The storage devices can be classified based on the following different dimensions:
Storage performance: basic EBS, SSD EBS, and EHDD EBS
Scenario: system disks and data disks
At present, EBS supports multiple billing modes, including Subscription, Pay-By-Daily-Config, Pay-As-You-Go (Monthly), and Pay-As-You-Go. For more information, see EBS pricing.
You can purchase EIP to access the Internet. EIP supports BGP links with various bandwidth values and is charged based on the bandwidth value selected. For more information about EIP billing, see EIP billing modes.
Disaster tolerance groups are used to distribute KEC instances absolutely on different physical machines. For KEC instances that are added to the same disaster tolerance group, the failure of a single underlying physical machine will cause the failure of multiple KEC instances. You can add or delete KEC instances to or from different disaster tolerance groups to ensure high availability. A disaster tolerance group is charged based on the number of times KEC instances are added to the disaster tolerance group. For more information, see Billing modes of disaster tolerance groups.
