When the size of your data disk is insufficient, you can increase the size of the data disk.
When you use an EBS volume or a local data disk as the data disk, you can change the size of the data disk no matter whether the KEC instance is online or offline.
This topic describes how to expand the capacity of a local data disk for Linux and Windows KEC instances. For more information about how to expand the capacity of an EBS volume, see Overview.
Log in to the KEC console. The Instance page appears by default.
Select the instance whose data disk is to be expanded, and choose More > Resource Adjustment > Change Configuration in the Operation column.
Enter the total capacity of the data disk after the expansion and click OK. The maximum capacity is 32 TB.
In the Confirm Configuration Change message, click OK to submit the order and pay.
In the instance list, click the Restart icon under the The Upgrade Configuration Was Successful message in the Status column of the instance.
In the message that appears, click OK.
Before you expand the capacity of a local data disk, make sure that the data disk is mounted to the KEC instance. To check whether the data disk is mounted, log in to the KEC instance and launch This PC.
If the data disk is not found, mount it. For more information, see Mount a local data disk.
