Enable IPv6 public network bandwidth

Last updated:2021-08-04 11:26:31

By default, IPv6 addresses assigned to instances being created can only be used for communication in VPCs. To communicate over the public network through IPv6 addresses, you must enable the feature of IPv6 public network bandwidth.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KEC console.

  2. In the instance list, find the target instance already assigned with an IPv6 address and click its instance name or ID to go to the instance details page.

  3. In the Primary ENI section, click Adjust Bandwidth next to the IPv6 address.

  4. On the IPv6 IP page that appears, select the IPv6 address for which public network bandwidth is to be enabled, and then click Enable Public Access for IPv6 above the IPv6 address list.

  5. Set the bandwidth value and billing mode. Click Pay Now.

On the IPv6 IP page, you can also disable public network bandwidth or adjust the bandwidth for an IPv6 address.
