Reset passwords

The KEC console allows you to reset the password for a single KEC instance or reset passwords for multiple KEC instances at a time.

Prerequisites

You have stopped the KEC instance for which you want to reset the password.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KEC console.

  2. On the Instance page, select one or more KEC instances in Stopped state from the instance list, and then choose More > Reset Password above the instance list.

  3. In the Reset Password dialog box, enter a new password and click OK.

    The new password immediately takes effect on the selected instances.
