After you create a General Purpose N1, N2, or N3 KEC instance, the instance does not have local disks. You can purchase EBS volumes to store data. The capacity of a single EBS volume is 0 to 32 TB. The EBS volumes that you purchase this way are automatically mounted to the KEC instance.
If your KEC instance was created before August 26, 2020 and has not been restarted since then, you must first restart your KEC instance before you can mount an EBS volume that is larger than 16 TB.
If you separately purchase an EBS volume and want to mount it to the KEC instance, refer to Attach an EBS volume.
