Set automatic snapshot policies for disks

Kingsoft Cloud allows you to set automatic snapshot policies for local disks only.

Attach a new automatic snapshot policy

1. Log in to the KEC console.

2. In the left navigation pane, choose Disk > Local Disk.

3. In the list of local disks, find the disk to which you want to attach an automatic snapshot policy and click Set Automatic Snapshot Policy in the Operation column.

4. On the Set Automatic Snapshot Policy page, select the automatic snapshot policy to be attached and click OK.

   If many policies are available, you can enter a policy name in the search box to filter the list. Fuzzy match is supported.

Detach an automatic snapshot policy

1. Log in to the KEC console.

2. In the left navigation pane, choose Disk > Local Disk.

3. Find the disk from which you want to detach an automatic snapshot policy and click Set Automatic Snapshot Policy in the Operation column.

4. On the Set Automatic Snapshot Policy page, click the Delete icon next to the attached automatic snapshot policy and click OK.
