Set accounts

  1. The feature of access key management for the Kingsoft Cloud Standard Storage Service (KS3) main account was moved to Identity and Access Management (IAM) on April 27, 2017. If an access key is created for your KS3 main account, you can use the access key in KS3. The access key can be disabled and deleted. However, you can neither enable the access key after you disable it, nor create a new access key. If your KS3 main account has an active access key, you can click your account in the upper-right corner in the Kingsoft Cloud console and click Access Keys from the drop-down list.


  1. We recommend that you use the access key in KS3. The KS3 access key can be used only to access KS3, and cannot be used to access other Kingsoft Cloud products.


  1. The access keys that you create for your Kingsoft Cloud account in the IAM console can be used to access all Kingsoft Cloud products, including KS3. We recommend that you manage your Kingsoft Cloud account and IAM users in the IAM console. For more information, see IAM documentation.
