Users can assign Buckets to different project groups, so as to facilitate the permission allocation, cost identification and unified management based on project granularity.
Before assigning Buckets to different project groups, users need to maintain project information first. For details, see the document project management.
The Buckets without project information assigned will be allocated to [Default Project Group] by default.
1.Click [Storage and CDN] -> [KS3] on the left menu bar to enter the KS3 management console interface, and then click [Create Bucket].
2.In the pop-up “Create Bucket” dialog box, select a Region, enter the name of the Bucket, select the Project in which the Bucket is located, and click the [OK] button. The Bucket is created.
Note: After the main account logs in, Buckets under any project can be created. But after a sub user logs in, only the Bucket under the sub user’s project can be created (if the sub user is allowed to create Buckets).
Click the Bucket list on the left side of the KS3 console, and click the Bucket you want to view. Then on the Bucket home page, you can see the project group where the Bucket is located.
Note: After the main account logs in, any Bucket’s project information can be viewed. But after a sub user logs in, only the Bucket’ project information under the sub user’s project can be viewed (if the sub user is allowed to query the Bucket lists).
Enter the Bucket to be set, click [Bucket Settings], and select [Project Management]. Select a project, and click the [OK] button.
Note: After the main account logs in, a Bucket can be set to any project. But after a sub user logs in, a Bucket can only be set to the project where the sub user is located.
In the selection box above the Bucket list on the left, select a project, and the list of all Buckets under the Project will be displayed.
Note: After the main account logs in, the Buckets under all projects will be listed. But after a sub user logs in, only the Buckets under the project where the sub user is located will be listed.
