Upgrade scaling groups to node pools

The node pool feature is available. It inherits all features of scaling groups and enables you to conveniently manage nodes by node pool. For example, it supports node O&M, and enables you to configure nodes, enable and disable auto scaling for nodes, and manage multiple nodes at a time. We recommend that you upgrade scaling groups to node pools. This topic describes how to upgrade scaling groups of a cluster to node pools in the Kingsoft Cloud Container Engine (KCE) console. To upgrade scaling groups to node pools, perform the following steps:

1. Log in to the KCE console.
2. In the left navigation pane, click Cluster.
3. Click the ID of the target cluster. The cluster details page appears.
4. In the left navigation pane, choose Manage Nodes > Scaling Group.
5. In the Upgrade Scaling Group to Node Pool message that appears, click OK.

   Note

   • This operation upgrades the scaling groups of your cluster to node pools with auto scaling enabled. The node pools inherit the information of the scaling groups without impact on your existing business.
