How do I measure the performance of an EBS volume?

You can measure the performance of an EBS volume based on the following metrics:
Input/Output operations per second (IOPS): the number of read or write operations that can be performed per second.
Throughput: the amount of data read or written per second. Unit: Mbit/s.
Latency: the period from the time point when an I/O request is sent to the time point when the I/O request is received and confirmed. Unit: s, ms, or μs.
