Overview

You can change the private IP addresses of the primary and secondary elastic network interfaces (ENIs).

Prerequisites

If a Kingsoft Cloud GPU Elastic Compute (GEC) instance already has an elastic IP address (EIP), you must first unbind the EIP from the instance. Otherwise, you cannot change the private IP addresses of the primary and secondary ENIs for the instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KEC console. The Instance page appears by default.

  2. Find the instance for which you want to change the private IP addresses of the primary and secondary ENIs. Choose More > Network/Security Group > Change Network Configuration in the Operation column.

    Set the following parameters:

    • Select ENI: Select the ENI to which you want to assign a new private IP address. Valid values include Primary ENI and Secondary ENI. For more information about the primary and secondary ENIs, see Overview of elastic network interfaces.
    • VPC and Associated Subnet: Select the virtual private cloud (VPC) and subnet to which the new private IP address belongs.
    • Private IP: Enter or select the new private IP address.
    • DNS1 and DNS2: Enter the IP addresses of DNS servers.
  3. Click Next.

  4. Select the security groups that you want to bind to the new private IP address, and click OK.
