Disable the AccessKey of an IAM user

This topic describes how to disable the AccessKey of an IAM user when the AccessKey is not required.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IAM console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Identities > Subusers. The Subusers page appears.
  3. Click the username of the target IAM user, or click Details in the Actions column. The User details page appears.
  4. On the Safety management tab, find the AccessKey that you want to disable and click Disabled in the Actions column.
  5. In the message that appears, click OK.

    To enable an AccessKey, click Enabled in the Actions column.
