Change the basic information of an IAM user

This topic describes how to change the display name, email address, and phone number of an IAM user. After an IAM user is created, its username cannot be changed.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IAM console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Identities > Subusers. The Subusers page appears.
  3. Click the username of the target IAM user, or click Details in the Actions column. The User details page appears.
  4. Click Edit in the User Info section.
  5. In the Edit dialog box, change the information as required.
  6. Click OK.
