If an image is deleted, KEC instances that are expected to use this image cannot be created. Auto Scaling can detect this exception when a scaling activity is triggered, and send an alarm to you.
You can check the validity of a launch configuration in the launch configuration list. If a launch configuration appears as invalid, the image specified in the launch configuration has been deleted and the launch configuration cannot be used.
