A launch configuration is a template for automatically creating Kingsoft Cloud Elastic Compute (KEC) instances. A launch configuration includes information such as the custom image ID, KEC instance type, type and capacity of the system disk and data disk, configuration name, and administrator password.
You must specify a launch configuration when you create a scaling group. After a launch configuration is created, it cannot be edited.
