Configure access control

Last updated:2021-05-26 16:59:48

Kingsoft Cloud SLB supports listener-level access control. You can configure ACLs for listeners.

You can configure an ACL for a listener when you create the listener. After creating a listener, you can modify the ACL or reconfigure an ACL for the listener.

The following procedure describes how to configure an ACL for a listener after you create the listener.

Create an ACL

  1. Log in to the SLB console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Security > Access Control.
  3. On the Access Control page, click Create ACL.
  4. On the page that appears, enter a name for the ACL, select the IP address version, click Add to add inbound rules, and then click Save.

Configure access control

Before performing this task, make sure that the following conditions are met:

  • The ACL to be used has been created.

  • The listener to be used has been created.

To configure and start access control, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the SLB console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, choose Classic > Listener.
  3. On the page that appears, select the region to which the associated SLB instance belongs.
  4. Select the listener to be bound and click Configure ACL.
  5. In the Configure ACL dialog box, select the ACL for access control and click OK.

If a configuration success prompt appears, the listener is bound to the ACL.

Note: A listener can be bound to only one ACL. An ACL can be bound to multiple listeners.
