An SLB instance distributes client requests only to backend servers that are operating correctly. If the number of client requests increases, you can add more backend servers to the SLB instance to satisfy the processing requirements.
After you unbind a backend server from an SLB instance, the SLB instance immediately stops forwarding requests to the backend server. Unbinding a backend server does not affect the lifecycle of the backend server. You can bind the backend server to the SLB instance again when the backend server is available.
