On the Instances page, you can manage your Kingsoft Cloud Redis (KCS) instances. For example, you can renew instances, change instance configuration, change instance names, and delete instances.
You can renew Subscription instances when they expire or your account balance is insufficient.
You can change the configuration of your KCS instances based on your needs.
You can change instance configuration without the need to stop your instances. The configuration change made to a primary/secondary instance takes effect immediately and does not affect services. The configuration change made to a cluster instance causes a transient disconnection of several milliseconds. Make sure that your Redis clients can automatically reconnect to the cluster instance.
Log in to the KCS console.
In the left navigation pane, click Instances.
Select one or more instance for which you want to change configuration and click Change Configuration.
Make sure that the instances that you select are of the same type. The selected instances must be all primary/secondary instances or all cluster instances.
Select a new memory capacity and click OK.
The new memory capacity applies to all the selected instances. You will be billed based on the new configuration.
You can change the names of your KCS instances at any time.
Log in to the KCS console.
In the left navigation pane, click Instances.
Move the pointer over the name of the instance that you want to rename.
The Edit icon appears next to the instance name.
Click the Edit icon and enter a new name.
The new name takes effect immediately.
You can delete the instances that you no longer need. You cannot delete Subscription instances.
You can delete an instance only when it is in the Running state.
You can restart instances as required. Both primary/secondary instances and cluster instances support the restart operation.
