Purchase a KCS instance

Before you begin

Before you purchase a Kingsoft Cloud Redis (KCS) instance, create a Kingsoft Cloud account and complete real-name verification. For more information see Registration and authentication.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console.
2. Click Redis under Database. The Overview page appears.
3. In the left navigation pane, click Instances.
4. Click Create Instance.

5. On the page that appears, set the parameters as required. The following parameters may require your additional attention:

   • Instance Architecture: Select Cluster or Primary/Secondary.
   • Data Center: Select a region that is close to the users of the KCS instance.
   • Memory Capacity: Select a memory capacity that suits your needs. A larger capacity can support more connections.
   • Billing Mode: Select a billing mode that suits your needs.
   • Quantity: By default, one instance is purchased.
6. Click Buy Now. Submit the order and complete the payment.
