Project

Overview

Project is the basic unit of business organization. You can create projects for different businesses in the specified region. Each project contains the LogPool, log query, dashboard, and alarm modules. Members of a project can perform a variety of operations in the project. For example, they can create LogPools, write or read data, and query logs.

Create a project

Log in to the KLog console and click Projects in the left navigation pane. The Projects page appears. Click Create Project. The Create Project panel appears, as shown in the following figure.

• Project Name: Enter a project name in the specified format. The name cannot be changed after the project is created.
• Region: Select a region for the project. The region cannot be changed after the project is created.
• Remarks: Describe the project. The description can be modified after the project is created. Click OK to create the project.
  

View project details

Log in to the KLog console and click Projects in the left navigation pane. The Projects page appears. Click the name of a project. The project details page appears, as shown in the following figure.

• Domain Names: the endpoints provided by KLog for you to access the service from the internal network and the Internet. When you access KLog from the Internet, the traffic from the Internet is generated.
• LogPool: the LogPools in the current project. For more information, see LogPool.
