How do DNS verification and file verification differ?

If you choose DNS authentication, the system will generate a CNAME record for you. To complete domain name authentication, you only need to ask your domain name service provider to add this CNAME resolution record.
If you chooses file authentication, the system will generate an HTML page with a random string for you. You must save this page to the designated location on the DNS server and verify that the page can be accessed through the public network.
