Step 6 Enable a KAD instance

After you purchase a KAD instance, it is enabled by default. Protection takes effect only when an instance is enabled. If you stop a KAD instance, the CNAME records will be directed to the origin server.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KAD console.
  2. Select the target KAD instance from the KAD list, and click Start. image.png
  3. In the dialog box that appears, click OK. The KAD status of the domain name is changed to Enabled.
