Step 2 Connect a Layer 4 service to KAD

For Layer 4 services that do not need domain names such as gaming, communication can be implemented based on IP addresses. When you configure KAD for this type of services, you need to add forwarding rules.

Procedure

1. Log in to the KAD console.
2. Select the target KAD instance from the KAD instance list.
3. In the lower part of the page, click the Layer 4 Config tab.
4. Click Add.
5. In the dialog box that appears, set parameters such as the protocol, service port, origin data center, and real server IP address. When Health Check is enabled, you must also set the health check parameters.
6. Click Add to add the forwarding rule.
