This topic shows you how to purchase a KAD instance.
You have confirmed with your Kingsoft Cloud account manager that your account has been granted the permission to purchase KAD instances.
| Parameter | Description |

| Type | Valid values: Formal and Trial. For more information, see Trail guide |
| Link Type | The link type of the KAD instance. Specify the value based on your business location and requirements. |
| Instance Name | The name of the KAD instance. |
| Anti-DDoS Capability | The basic anti-DDoS capability of the KAD instance. |
| Highest Capacity | The highest anti-DDoS capability of the KAD instance. The value is relative to the specified basic anti-DDoS capability. |
| Port/Domain Package | The number of ports or resource records that can be configured for a KAD instance. Default value: 100. |
| Project | The project to which the KAD instance belongs. |
| Duration | The purchase duration of the KAD instance. |

| Type | Valid value: Formal. The By Times approach does not support trial use. |
| Link Type | The link type of the KAD instance. Specify the value based on your business location and requirements. |
| Instance Name | The name of the KAD instance. |
| Unlimited Protection | The anti-DDoS capability of the KAD instance. Valid values: 100G, 200G, 300G, and 500G. Protection with unlimited usage times is provided in one year. |
| One-Time Protection | The maximum protection for 24 hours since an attack occurred. Maximum value: 100. |
| Port/Domain Package | The number of ports or resource records that can be configured for a KAD instance. Default value: 100. Maximum value: 200. |
| Project | The project to which the KAD instance belongs. |
