Step 1 Connect a website service to KAD

This topic shows you how to configure website service access in the Kingsoft Cloud Advanced Defense (KAD) console after you purchase a KAD instance.

Prerequisites

You have purchased a KAD instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KAD console.
  2. Select the target KAD instance from the KAD instance list.
  3. In the lower part of the page, click the Layer 7 Config tab.
  4. Click Add. image.png
  5. In the dialog box that appears, set parameters such as the service port, domain name, and protocol. image.png

    When Health Check is enabled, you must also set health check parameters. The following table describes the parameters.

Parameter Description
Service Port The service port of KAD. Specify the value based on the selected protocol.
  • If the protocol is HTTP, the default service port is 80.
  • If the protocol is HTTPS, the default service port is 443.
  • Resource Record The website domain to be protected. A wildcard domain name is supported.
    Protocol The protocol type supported by the website. Valid values:
  • HTTP: HTTP is the default value.
  • HTTPS: If the website supports HTTPS, you must set the protocol type to HTTPS and upload the HTTPS certificate of the website domain.
  • Origin Data Center The location of the origin server. Valid values:
  • Non-Kingsoft Cloud: The origin server does not reside in a data center of Kingsoft Cloud.
  • A data center of Kingsoft Cloud.
  • Origin IP The IP address of the origin server.
    Port The port of the origin server.
    1. Click Add to add the domain name.
