Each file system can have a mount target. The mount target is an access target address (an IP address) assigned from the endpoint subnet in a VPC. You can mount a file system to the local computer by specifying the IP address of a mount target in the operating system.
A file system is a directory in the operating system after it is mounted to a compute node. You can create files in the directory and perform the operations of adding, deleting, modifying, viewing, reading, and writing files.
NFS is the abbreviation of Network File System. By using NFS, users and applications can access files on a remote system just like accessing local files.
