What is Kingsoft Cloud File Storage?

Last updated:2021-11-15 20:30:32

Kingsoft Cloud File Storage (KFS) is a scalable shared file storage service for compute nodes such as KEC instances and EPC instances. KFS supports standard file access protocols including NFS and CIFS, allowing file systems to be mounted to existing applications without any modification. KFS is suitable for many use cases including content management, enterprise file sharing, and media processing.

KFS is easy to use. You can access and use file systems through simple configuration operations without the need to adjust your business structure or perform complex configuration. You can use KFS by performing the following steps: create a file system and mount target, create a KEC instance, and mount the created file system to the KEC instance.
