The billing modes of EPC include:
- Subscription: This is a prepaid billing mode. You must pay a one-time fee for one month, several months, or several years.
This billing mode is applicable to scenarios in which the device demand is estimated in advance. The price of this billing mode is lower than that of the pay-as-you-go billing mode. However, resources cannot be released on demand.
- Pay-By-Daily-Config: This is a postpaid billing mode. Billing is performed by day. Usage less than one day will be calculated as one day.
This billing mode is suitable for 24/7 services, business burst, or temporary expansion testing, and supports resource release at any time. The unit price is higher than that of the subscription billing mode.
Refund is not supported for Subscription EPC instances. For other restrictions on the billing modes and usage precautions, see KEC billing modes.
For price details, see EPC pricing.
