Step 2: Bind an elastic IP address

EPC instances need to use elastic IP addresses (EIPs) to access the public network.

You can bind or unbind EIPs for EPC instances through the console. Note that one EIP can only be bound to a single EPC instance, and each EPC instance can be bound to only one EIP.

Bind an EIP

  1. Log in to the EPC console. The EPC instance page appears by default.

  2. Find the target EPC instance, and then choose More > Bind EIP in the corresponding Operation column.

  3. In the Bind EIP dialog box that appears, select the EIP that you want to bind from the EIP list on the right side, and then click OK.

Unbind an EIP

  1. Log in to the EPC console. The EPC instance page appears by default.

  2. Find the target EPC instance, and then choose More > Unbind EIP in the corresponding Operation column.

  3. In the Unbind EIP dialog box, click OK.
