Create a dedicated cluster

Last updated:2021-01-04 20:05:33

After you create a dedicated cluster, you can create dedicated virtual machines (VMs) for the dedicated cluster. The VMs will be automatically assigned to hosts in the cluster based on the scheduling policy.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the KDH console.

  2. In the left navigation pane, click Dedicated Cluster.

  3. On the Dedicated Cluster page, click Create Dedicated Cluster.

  4. Set Availability Zone and Host Type, enter the cluster name, and then click OK.

A dedicated cluster has the host type attribute. A host can be added to a dedicated cluster only when the host has the same type as the cluster. For example, if a dedicated cluster is of the General Purpose DN2 type, hosts of the Computing DC2 type cannot be added to the cluster.
