Step 3: Create a security group rule

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console, and then click Kingsoft Cloud Elastic Compute under Compute to go to the KEC console.

  2. Select a region, select the KEC instance to be configured with a security group rule, and then choose More > Edit Firewall in the Operation column.

  3. Click Create Security Group. On the Create Security Group page that appears, click Inbound Rules.

  4. Click Add Line, configure rule parameters, and then click Confirm. The security group rule will take effect in one minute.

    For a Linux server, configure TCP 22 for SSH login.

    For a Windows server, configure TCP 3389 for remote login.
