Connect to KIS through VPN Connections

Last updated:2021-10-11 17:58:53

  1. Log in to the VPN Connections console.
  2. Create a VPN gateway for the VPC (the VPN gateway supports multiple VPN tunnels). Create a VPN tunnel named VPN1 to connect the on-premises data center to the VPC, and create a VPN tunnel named VPN2 to connect KIS to the VPC.

From an on-premises data center to KIS

  1. On the data center side, create a route. The destination of the route is the KIS CIDR block (such as 10.2.0.0/16) and the next hop is VPN1.

  2. In the VPN Connections console, set Extra Network of VPN1 to KIS (10.2.0.0/16).

  3. Access the Route page.
  4. Create a route for the VPC. The destination of the route is the KIS CIDR block (10.2.0.0/16) and the next hop is VPN2.

From KIS to the on-premises data center

  1. On the KIS side, create a route. The destination of the route is the data center (such as 10.1.0.0/16) and the next hop is VPN2.
  2. In the VPN Connections console, set Extra Network of VPN2 to the data center (10.1.0.0/16).
  3. Access the Route page.
  4. Create a route for the VPC. The destination of the route is the data center (10.1.0.0/16) and the next hop is VPN1.
