      VoD transcoding

      The following table describes the procedure for starting video on demand (VoD) transcoding.

      Step Description
      1 Activate the Kingsoft Cloud Standard Storage Service (KS3) service and create one or more buckets. For more information, see Activate the KS3 service.
      2 Configure a bucket policy. For more information, see Bucket policy.
      3 Activate the KMCT service.
      4 Integrate the VoD transcoding SDK. For more information, see the SDK manual.
      5 Configure a transcoding preset. For more information, see Presets.
      6 Start a VoD transcoding task. For more information, see CreateTask.

      Note: Contact your business representative to active KS3 and KMCT in Step 1 and Step 3. If you have questions about the other steps, contact the technical support.
