      Live transcoding

      The following table describes the procedure for starting live transcoding.

      Step Description
      1 Activate Kingsoft Cloud Live Service (KLS). For more information, see KLS documentation.
      2 Activate Kingsoft Cloud Media Cloud Transcoder (KMCT). By default, transcoding is triggered when stream pulling starts. To enable transcoding upon stream pushing, you need to submit an application for activation.
      3 Integrate the live transcoding SDK. For more information, see the SDK manual.
      4 Configure a live transcoding preset. For more information, see Presets.
      5 Configure the pull stream URL for transcoded streams. For more information, see Pull stream URL.
      6 Start live transcoding.

      Note:
      Contact your business representative to active KSL and KMCT in Step 1 and Step 2. If you have questions about the other steps, contact the technical support.
