Cluster AutoScaler provides the ability to automatically expand and contract the number of nodes in a Kubernetes cluster. When the capacity of a cluster is not enough, Cluster AutoScaler automatically creates new nodes without manual intervention. When the utilization of cluster nodes is low, Cluster AutoScaler will delete nodes to save costs. Cluster AutoScaler allows you to customize the configuration of servers in scaling groups and create scaling groups based on different instance specifications or availability zones.
