Manage IP address scanning

This document describes how to use KCI to scan vulnerabilities in your resources.

Enable vulnerability scanning for EIPs

Prerequisites

1. You have purchased an EIP.
2. The number of EIPs that have vulnerability scanning enabled is less than 5.

Procedure

1. Log in to the KSI console.

2. Select the EIP to be scanned and then click Start above the EIP list.

3. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
   The operation completes when the scanning status of the EIP becomes Start.

   Note: You can enable vulnerability scanning for up to five EIPs under the same account.

Disable vulnerability scanning for EIPs

Prerequisites

An EIP that has vulnerability scanning enabled exists.

Procedure

1. Log in to the KSI console.

2. Select the EIP to be scanned and then click Stop above the EIP list.

3. In the confirmation dialog box that appears, click OK.
