View policies

You can view a list of policies under the current Kingsoft Cloud account. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console (new version) with your Kingsoft Cloud account or as an authorized IAM user.
  2. Choose Products and Services > Monitor and Management > IAM. In the left navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  3. On the Policies page, you can view the policies under the Kingsoft Cloud account, including system policies and custom policies, as shown in the following figure.

You can view the details about a policy under the current Kingsoft Cloud account. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console (new version) with your Kingsoft Cloud account or as an authorized IAM user.
  2. Choose Products and Services > Monitor and Management > IAM. In the left navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  3. On the Policies page, click the name of a system policy or custom policy to go to the Policy details page.

View the details about a system policy

On the Policy details page for a system policy, you can find the Policy Information section and several tabs.
The Policy Information section displays the name of the policy, its creation time, remarks, policy type, and version.
The tabs are Policy Document, Versions, and Associated object. You can click a tab to view the detailed information.

View the details about a custom policy that is not created by selecting the required services and features

Compared with a system policy, a custom policy allows you to perform the following operations on the Policy details page:
Click Edit Trust Policy to edit the policy document and then click Verification strategy to verify the policy document.

Compared with other custom policies, this type of custom polices has an additional Policy authority tab on the Policy details page.
On the Policy authority tab, you can select or clear services and features as required.

Attach a policy to an IAM user

You can attach a policy to an IAM user to assign the permissions described by the policy to the IAM user. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console (new version) with your Kingsoft Cloud account or as an authorized IAM user.
  2. Choose Products and Services > Monitor and Management > IAM. In the left navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  3. On the Policies page, find the target policy and click Associated object in the Actions column, as shown in the following figure. The Associated object pane appears.

Detach a policy from an IAM user

You can detach a policy from an IAM user to revoke the permissions described by the policy from the IAM user. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console (new version) with your Kingsoft Cloud account or as an authorized IAM user.
  2. Choose Products and Services > Monitor and Management > IAM. In the left navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  3. On the Policies page, click the name of a policy to go to the Policy details page. Click the Associated object tab. On this tab, find the target IAM user and click Remove in the Actions column. A confirmation dialog box appears. Click Confirm to detach the policy from the IAM user.

View the version list of a policy

You can view a list of versions of a custom policy under the current Kingsoft Cloud account. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Log in to the Kingsoft Cloud console (new version) with your Kingsoft Cloud account or as an authorized IAM user.
  2. Choose Products and Services > Monitor and Management > IAM. In the left navigation pane, choose Permissions > Policies. The Policies page appears.
  3. On the Policies page, click the name of a custom policy to go to the Policy details page. Click the Versions tab and then click View for a version. The pane for editing the policy document appears, as shown in the following figure.
